I was doing passage 13 from TBR's gases section (Ch. 6) and I wasn't sure if they made a mistake or I'm misunderstanding the question. My logic for the question is fine it's just the wording.
"In the experiment illustrated, how must the spin rate be adjusted when methane is replaced by NO to get the same result"
My interpretation was that methane was originally in the chamber and was then replaced by NO. However, the answers in the back of the book says the opposite:...
