Can someone go over how REM sleep behaviour disorder is linked to dopamine deficiency?
I know that in REM sleep behaviour disorder, the brainstem doesn't turn off and the muscles don't get paralyzed like they should in a normal REM sleep stage - so the person physically acts out their dreams with kicking, punching etc. I looked up a bunch of research on this and some suggest a link to dopamine deficiency.
